We are data scientists, computational biologists, software architects, change-agents.
Tag.bio was founded on the belief that innovation is a function of human curiosity. This manifests in a desire to ask questions of data, and the greater the number of questions that can be answered, the greater the chances of making the next fundamental breakthrough.
Our company has its origins at the University of California, San Francisco Cancer Center, where Jesse Paquette (Chief Science Officer, Tag.bio), then employed as a Computational Biologist, developed a data analysis program that allowed oncology researchers to quickly ask and answer guided questions of their data without having to wait for a bioinformatician.
Realizing the platform’s potential, Jesse teamed up with Tom Covington (Chief Executive Officer) to start Tag.bio. We have since expanded into commercial and academic partnerships across healthcare and life sciences sectors, from leading academic institutions to large pharmaceutical organizations.
