…and we learned new tricks from every dataset we analyzed with our prototype: social, sports, healthcare, finance, retail. Our intuition was confirmed – deep analytics works on almost any dataset.
In late 2015, we engaged with the Serie A soccer club AS Roma to assist with opponent scouting and player transfer analysis. Over the remainder of the 2015-2016 season, Roma advanced in the table. And our tag.cortex platform was refined to the point where business analysts and college interns – none of them software developers – were able to take a dataset and deploy our platform for deep analytics on their own.
In the fall of 2016 we launched the beta version of the tag.cortex platform, and we began the push beyond sports into other industries. In January 2017 we officially launched tag.cortex.
